Do you do commissions?
Yes, I do accept commission work. Please contact me if you would like to commission me. Canvasses can be custom made to any dimensions.
Do you have any original paintings for sale right now?
All paintings are original and those currently for sale can be found in my online shop under “Shop”.
What medium do you use?
I use oil paint, linseed oil, charcoal, gold leaf, occasionally I make use of collage. Canvasses are custom made and ordered from Cape Canvasses in Cape Town.
When I buy a painting from you, will it come ready to hang?
Original paintings on canvas up to 50 x 50 cms come stretched. Larger pieces are shipped rolled in a tube and will need to be taken to a framer for re-stretching. The customer is responsible for re-stretching.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship all over the world.
How much is shipping?
The shipping amount will be calculated by the payments platform, unless stated otherwise.
How do you ship your paintings?
All smaller paintings on canvas are carefully packed in double walled cardboard boxes with layers of bubble wrap. Larger paintings on canvas are rolled and shipped in extra strong 3mm wall cardboard tubes.
I have placed my order, when should I expect my artwork?
Once you place your order it will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details, delivery takes between 5-7 business days within South Africa, and up to 14 business days to the rest of the world. I use a private shipping company within Southern Africa, and tracked shipping with the South African Post Office for delivery to the rest of the world. All shipments require a signature on delivery.
Payments in South Africa.
Payments within South Africa can also e made via EFT. Then you don’t need to complete the checkout process. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payments in the rest of the world.
If you are in buying a painting from elsewhere in the world, it is required that you pay via PayPal. If you are paying from the United Kingdom, Europe or the United States, alternative arrangements can e made.
What happens if my piece is lost or damaged?
If your piece is lost or damaged, I offer a replacement or full refund. The painting or print must be returned in its original packaging.
What if I change my mind?
If you are unhappy with your piece or just change your mind, I offer a full refund up to 14 days after receipt – customer is liable for return shipping.
